Rajasthan an Indian state is situated in the North-western region of India, is often referred to the “Land of the Kings” due to it architectural marvels, Royal Palaces, grand forts and intricately carved temples. Jaipur the capital city of Rajasthan known as the pink city has many iconic tourist attractions. The magnificent Amber Fort made of red stone and marble is a UNESCO Heritage site. The Sam Sand Dunes, which comprise of colourful tent resorts and carnival-like celebrations, desert safari, camel ride, dune bashing, camping, bonfires, folk dances, with traditional music are the highlights for tourist attractions in the desert.

Rajasthan’s markets are famous for tie-and-dye textiles, embroidered leather shoes, lacquer ware, antiquities, carpets and puppets, colourful Rajasthan textiles, clay figurines, and classic silver jewellery etc.

Rajasthan also celebrates a few festivals and fairs like the Pushkar fair (an annual weeklong camel fair), Desert fair featuring folk music, art and puppetry, the Marwar festival honouring the heroes of Rajasthan etc.

The Rajasthan famous cusine comprise of the Dal Bhati Churma, Laal Mass, Gatte Ki Sabzi Pyaaz Ki Kachori, Mohan Mas etc., it is a blend of the Rajput rulers and the Mughal Emperors. 

The people of Rajasthan are an Ethnic Indian group. Their traditional clothing is of embroidery work, colourful turbans, ghagras, and intricate jewellery.
